In the last couple of weeks I have been looking at Wim Crouwel's work, particularly his typeface, New Alphabet designed in 1967. I wanted to use it for my word 'connect' because it has no curved lines. All the letters have horizontal and vertical terminals which makes it easier to connect the word. Plus it looks cool!
