Original Image to Cropped Image to Animation (Batman)

The following images, video clips show how I croped a part of each comic strip, digitally removing the section I want in Photoshop, and using my paper based drawings to make that section animate/move in After Effects.
The images from the Batman comics that made it into my title sequence are; Batman leaping over a car and Batman leaping over a truck.

Wonder Woman Comic Book & Intro / The Flash 1967 Intro

Captain America 1960's Intro / Extracts from Series

Top Ten Title Sequence (End Shot)

My flat mate kindly offered to be Superman revealing his costume. It took a number of takes to get the right kind of shot. We had trouble trying to get the speed right as he walked towards the camera. I chose to use Helevetica as the font for the title as I couldn't find the Superman font. I created the simple triangle in Illustrator, with the title I superimposed it onto the chest of the stand in Superman.

Superman Comic Book / 1960's Intro

The end of my Top Ten... sequence will take its inspiration from Superman ripping his clothes off to reveal his costume underneath. The difference being instead of the letter 's', there will be the title of the programme in its place, 'The Top Ten Best Superheroes'.
